Summer Series
This summertime program offers kids and parents a break from the sun and rain with free access to over-sized games throughout the week under 12,000 square feet of shade during its installation.

Jazz Intensive Concert
Big band favorites and contemporary jazz combo arrangements will be featured in this culminating performance from the students of the Patel Conservatory Summer Jazz Intensive. Grab a seat to see the jazz stars of tomorrow bring their skills to the Morsani Hall.

Saturday Sweat Sesh
Workout in one of our lovely City of Tampa Parks for approximately 1 hour on three Saturdays out of each month. The workout is typically a fun mix of cardio and strength training for all fitness levels.

Fish, Grits & Black History
Fish, Grits & Black History III is the third time this fundraising event has been held in order to observe the importance of Black History Month and continuing Africana Studies and research. There will be panel discussions, entertainment, and of course fish and grits! The Dr. Walter L. Smith Library has supported cultural studies in the Tampa Bay area for more than 15 years.

Summer is King
Follow the herd to ZooTampa at Lowry Park where Summer is King! Each week starting Friday, July 12th until August 8th, your Zoo visit will be filled with themed animal chats & enrichments, fun activities for the kids, and specialty food items all in celebration of Africa. Ice Cream at Ballast Point Park
Enjoy free ice cream sundaes and a day at the park with Horizon Church. At 11:00 am, attendees will be packing sack lunches with a bottle of water, granola bar, and other snacks for those experiencing homelessness in our community. This is a kid-friendly activity. Feel free to bring a friend and anything else that you would bring to have fun in the park.

14th Annual Martinis for Moffitt
Hosted by Bay Area Advisors, Martinis for Moffitt supports Moffitt Cancer Center’s critical cancer research programs. BAA has now donated more than $1.5 million to Moffitt from event proceeds. Jurassic Park (1993)
This special CinemaSTEM / Summer Classics crossover will feature a post-show Film Talk and audience Q&A with Anthony Pelaez, Senior Director of Exhibits and Innovation at Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry. He will discuss where the movie got the science right, and where the filmmakers may have taken a few liberties with how DNA works (he’s also promised to perform some “dinosaur calls”).
