Four Guys Named Jose and Una Mujer Named Maria
Four young Latino men have a chance meeting at Burrito World in Omaha and discover they share the same name and a common dream: to stage a show of Latin standards that puts forth a positive image to counteract Latino stereotypes. Enter Maria, a beautiful woman who provides a romantic interest as the gentlemen vie for her attention. Performed in Spanish and English, the show features some of the most evocative Latin music ever written, sung in four and five-part harmony. The show is brimming with the zest of life intrinsic to the Latino culture.

One of the most popular and highly recognized standup comedians on the road today has also made quite an impression in the television, film and radio arenas. 2019 Uptown Music Festival: An Evening of Sax Therapy
The Uptown Music Festival was created to bring the Uptown District of Tampa together to highlight the rich culture of the area through music. This one-day event will draw Tampa residents and surrounding cities to the Uptown District for a day of music and art to benefit the programs and services of University Area CDC. With over 20,000 residents living in unincorporated Hillsborough County, and major institutions such as the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advent Health and Uptown Mall (University Mall) the festival is sure to become one of the premier cultural events in the area. This outdoor event is going to be a fun and relaxing evening for the whole family to enjoy.

Paws & Effect
Sparkman Wharf and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay have partnered together to launch a summer fundraising campaign series called Paws & Effect! Join us at Sparkman Wharf the first and third Saturday from 12pm – 4pm, June through August, to visit adoptables and purchase “paws” that will be placed along the wharf. All funds raised will go towards the building of HSTB’s new shelter – one paw at a time! 🐾 Paws will be sold in the lawn area for $6.00 each. HSTB accepts cash and credit card payments.

Cabaret (The Musical)
In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the MC’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, the show explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. This is the 1998 version.

Sixth Annual Richard’s Father’s Day Walk & Jog
This family-friendly Father’s Day event is non-timed with an option to run or walk either 5K or one mile. Participants receive a unisex dri-fit event shirt. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Moffitt Cancer Center, specifically this year as part of a $1 million pledge toward a brachytherapy suite there. The brachytherapy procedure, which uses more targeted internal radiation instead of external radiation, is highly effective on multiple cancer types, produces fewer side effects, and offers faster recovery times than other treatments..
