Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival

Fans of beer and brunch rejoice, a Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival is coming to town Saturday, March 24th from 11am-4pm. Taking place at Cotanchobee Park, a beautiful waterfront park located along Garrison Channel in downtown Tampa, the festival will feature a bounty of brunch dishes, over 60 craft beers and cocktails to sample, live music, games, and tons of fun.The Beer and Brunch Festival bringing an exclusive offer to readers of That’s So Tampa with a very limited selection of tickets offered at $28 (normally $40 at the door). The Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival’s Drink Sampling Admission tickets include all of the excitement mentioned above, plus access to unlimited cocktail and beer samplings starting at noon. You’ll also receive a commemorative sampling cup. Can’t leave the little ones at home? Children 10 and under are free.

Earth, Wind & Fire at Florida Strawberry Festival
Are you in the mood to groove? The soulful R&B band Earth, Wind & Fire will play at the Florida Strawberry Festival at 7:30pm. Purchase tickets and transform back in time to the pop sounds of the 1970’s. 303 N Lemon St.

Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl
If you’re looking to drink beer and support a great cause, check out the Ybor City pub crawl sponsored by Rough Riders whose mission is to commemorate the civil service acts of Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt. The event begins at 5pm and tickets cost $25 with all proceeds supporting Rough Rider charities.

Margaret Cho at Tampa Improv Theatre
Comedian, actress and activist Margaret Cho will bring her “Fresh off the Bloat” tour to Tampa. Tickets are $30 with doors opening an hour before the show. All shows are 21+ except for Friday at 10:30pm, which is for 18+. Tampa Improv Theatre – 1600 E. 8th Ave.

Baauer Graves at Ritz Ybor
EDM artist Baauer Graves will perform at the Ritz Ybor in an effort to promote his newly released first album, Tombstone. Tickets cost $15 and doors open at 10pm. Ritz Ybor – 1503 E Seventh Ave.

Gasparilla Music Festival (Saturday and Sunday)
One of the most anticipated music festivals of the year is finally here! Join fellow music lovers at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and spend the weekend near the bay listening to local and nationally-recognized artists of various genres. Of the Wild exhibit at John F. Germany Public Library
Current artist in residence at The Florida Aquarium Kelly Quinn will be featuring her canvas art showcasing the vibrant underwater scences of coral reefs. Reception will take place from 2 – 4pm with a chance to meet the artist and learn about her studies and travel that have inspired her work. Refreshments will be provided. John F. Brad Paisley at Florida Strawberry Festival
