4th Annual Buzz Off Leukemia
It’s that time of year again… Time to get buzzed!!! This is the 4th annual Buzz Off Leukemia. An event where men and woman alike come to get here beard, mustache and hair buzzed to show support for children fighting cancer. This year is extra special because we are raising money to help local families who are dealing with their child fighting cancer and the financial strain that comes along with it. 2-5pm.

Fun night along the river tasting 15 or more different craft beers while enjoying the sounds of Luna Blue. This event is to raise funds to support the homeless teenagers here in Tampa Bay by giving them that 2nd chance at Starting Right Now. 6-9pm. Tickets.

African Drum and Dance Concert
The concert will feature West African dance companies from all over the country. SHAE Movement from Charlotte North Carolina, Balafon West African Dance from Pittsburgh and Kreative Kids and Beyond from Jacksonville, FL. We also have the guest artists from the conference performing in the show (i.e. Cukiara and Chakacha Dance Troupe). 8-10pm.

Conga Caliente Festival
Celebrate Hispanic arts and culture. Conga Caliente is the Premier Hispanic event in the Tampa Bay Area and the largest with over 60,000 in attendance last year. This Florida destination event is celebrating 15 years. According to the City of Tampa Mayor, Hispanic Heritage month ends when Conga plays. 11am-6pm.

Tee Up for a Cure
Join Jillian’s Dream and Prelude to a Cure for a fun-filled, family friendly, game filled afternoon and become Champions for lung cancer research. Our goal this year is to raise funds to support the Dr. Charles Williams Research Grant at Moffitt Cancer Center. Registration is now open and tickets can be purchased here. 3-6pm.

Straz Live! in the Park
An annual community event to kick off their new season, Straz LIVE! in the Park is a family-friendly mash-up of an afternoon picnic, a concert in the park and a block party featuring live entertainment of popular Broadway tunes, favorite opera arias and a surprise guest or two.
