Ask a Master Gardener!
Thrive: Garden + Water is teaming up with Master Gardeners from the UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County to answer your gardening and landscape questions in an open Q&A forum!Bring your garden questions and plant and insect samples for ID and one-on-one guidance. Free publications and handouts will be provided. Please bring plant and pest samples in closed containers or ziplock bags to prevent contamination with other materials. 9-11:30am.

KittyCon Tampa Bay 2018
Put on your best feline face and cat ears and join St. Francis Society Animal Rescue for a Black Cat Cauldron of Not Very Scary (or maybe just a little scary) Kitty Kat Fun!!! Special guests include Chris Poole of Cole and Marmalade, Laura Lassiter the Animal Communicator sponsored by Pet Pal Animal Shelter, Cameron Moore of the Million Cat Shelter Project, Sterling Davis the Trap King, and Adam Myatt the Cat Man from West Oakland. Featured entertainment includes Denny Mitchell and his show All About Cats and a special performance of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Black Cat by Slake Counts. 11am-6pm.

Tampa Riverwalk Trick or Treat
This is a FREE community event where we invite children in costume and their families to come Trick or Treat on the Riverwalk as well as enjoy fun activities. We will have more than 50 candy/treat stations participating. At the conclusion of the event at 7pm you are invited to attend the Movie in the Park at Water Works Park (Adam’s Family), thanks to our partners at Friends of Tampa Recreation. Complimentary Trick or Treat bags available to kids in costume. There is a limited supply and only available while supplies last. 4-7pm.

7th Annual Fantasma Fest
The Big Monsters Bed Race on historic 7th Avenue in Ybor City is a Fantasma Fest Production following the Little Monsters Pumpkin Patch in Centro Ybor. Those who are brave thrill seekers will race their homemade beds on wheels down 7th Avenue in a drag race style tournament for Ybor pride, bragging rights and the coveted trophy, which stays with the winner for a year until it’s time to battle once again. This fun spirited, family-friendly race has grown over the years and this year, we are expecting to have our biggest turnout yet. Spectators are encouraged to come out to cheer on their favorite team as they race at breakneck speeds and dress to impress. 3-6pm.

Autumn Succulent Wreath Workshop
Join Jamie O’Berry with O’Berry’s Succulents for an autumn wreath workshop. The class focuses on developing a wreath design using foliage mixed with succulents while considering color, texture and balance. The class will come with a vile of fall equinox blessing oil (It smells like pumpkins) developed by Jamie Matherly of Thorn and Thicket. Seating is limited. 2:30pm.

All Character Halloween Parade Toddler Time
Wear your costume to jump at Sky Zone and meet all your favorite Toddler Time characters like Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, Peppa and so many more! Take photos, show your costumes in the parade, and play with all your favorite characters. Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids. 9-11am.
