Tampa Bay Lightning vs Florida Panthers at Amalie Arena

Friday Night Backyard Movie – Beetlejuice at Vélo Champ
Backyard movies at the bike shop continue with Tim Burton classic, Beetlejuice. Swing through for a bike-in movie in the backyard this Friday night! The movie will start around 7:30pm on the big screen. 4415 N. Florida Ave.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Villagio Cinemas (Carrollwood)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Live cast Hell on Heels. They’re ready to thrill you all night long, join Hell on Heels for a night of sinful indulgence in classic RHPS style. Chamber of Terror Haunted Attraction (Friday and Saturday)
This Haunted Attraction is aboard a WWII cargo vessel docked in Channelside. Come witness why they were just ranked #1 in Florida and #4 in the nation as a “Must See” Haunted Attraction! This 4 level Attraction will enclose you in side this 72 year old steel beast for almost 30 mins! Attraction runs from 8pm-10:30 pm. Tickets are available HERE!

The Fringe Art Show at 7venth Sun Brewing
Celebrate Seminole Heights with the lovely folks at 7venth Sun Brewery. There is a new art show installed in the tasting room for your viewing pleasure that features some amazing local artists. Chris Tucker With Special Guest D.L. Hughley at Amalie Arena

Florida Sportsman Expo at the Florida State Fairgrounds (Saturday and Sunday)
For the 25th year, Florida Sportsman Magazine will host the Florida Sportsman Expo at the Florida State Fairgrounds on October 7th and 8th. Attendees to the Florida Sportsman Expo will find an array of new exhibitors, new fishing and hunting seminar speakers and other exciting new features, including the Best Boat Super Showcase featuring 15 models from the upcoming Best Boat Magazine and TV show. Admission is $8. Event is from 9am-5pm on Saturday, 10am-4pm on Sunday. 4800 U.S. 301.

Speak Up 5K at Al Lopez Park 
The second annual Speak Up 5K is a part of the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation that seeks to raise awareness and treatment for teenage depression and anxiety.SpeakUp5k Tampa gives back! A portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay to support their Florida Healthy Transitions program. The program aims to improve access to treatment and support services for youth and young adults ages 16 – 25 that either have, are experiencing symptoms, or are at risk of developing a serious mental health condition.
