The Family Acid
As the exhibition’s name suggests, “The Family Acid” depicts one family’s acid-fueled journey through the counterculture America of the 1970s and beyond. The exhibited photographs were all taken by author, actor and reggae archivist Roger Steffens and curated by his children, Kate and Devon Steffens, and his wife, Mary Steffens. The images highlight some of the most well-known facets of American culture in the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s—to include Vietnam, musicians, hippies, family and, of course, acid.  11a.m.-6p.m.
