After hearing Antje Duvekot (Aunt-yuh Doo-va-kott), former Rolling Stone music editor Dave Marsh says, “I have had this reaction once in the last 10 years and that was the first time I heard Patty Griffin.” With a whispery, sensual voice and an unflinching eye for observation, Duvekot’s become a hot-and-fast rising star in the folk music industry. Murder for Two at Jaeb Theater – Straz Center
Everyone is a suspect in MURDER FOR TWO a hilarious musical murder mystery with a twist: one actor investigates the crime, the other plays all of the suspects and they both play the piano! A zany blend of classic musical comedy and madcap mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs. The band had 24 hit singles at the top of the charts and won a Grammy for their landmark album “Band on the Run.” He performs at Skipper's Tuesday night at 7pm. Grateful Dead Nite with Uncle John's Band at Skipper's Smokehouse
Uncle John’s Band was formed in 1989 in Clearwater Florida from a combination of talented musicians who love to play the music of the Grateful Dead. The purpose of Uncle John’s Band is to recreate the atmosphere and musical adventure of a live Dead show. Over the past many years, Uncle John’s Band has performed hundreds of shows full of musical energy and pleasure for all those who have attended. 8pm. FREE. Friday, March 11

Amy Morgan Live and Local at Jaeb Courtyard – Straz Center
Amy Morgan is a jazz vocalist who has been performing professionally in the Tampa Bay area for over eight years. She has sang venues large and small; from 17 piece big-band benefit shows to many intimate restaurant settings. She performed at Ruth Eckerd Hall before several concerts including Natalie Cole, Chris Botti, and Harry Connick Jr. Amy is a classically trained vocalist that began by singing opera in high school and college but later found her niche in jazz. Her sound is influenced by classic jazz divas like Ella Fitzgerald and Julie London but her unique styling of these vintage songs is what makes nostalgic audiences return to hear her. 5:45-7:45pm. Filthy Richard Party at The Ritz
The Filthy Party consists of a custom music video driven experience of one of the coolest mixes of indie, party rock, alternative, hipster hop, electro, remixes, and underground dance music in Florida, featuring resident.. La Traviata at Carol Morsani Hall – Straz Center
Verdi's soaring score of this iconic opera tells the tale of captivating courtesan Violetta Valery's ultimate sacrifice: condemned to die from the ravages of consumption, she meets Alfredo Germont, an earnest admirer, who awakens in her a desire to feel true love. But their happily-ever-after goes horribly wrong when Germont's father challenges Violetta's view of the future. She leaves her beloved to live the life he deserves, but Alfredo falls into despair when she returns to her former life in the city. Itzhak Perlman at Carol Morsani Hall – Straz Center

Family Favorites Classics Series: Teen Wolf at Tampa Theatre
High school nerd Scott Howard (Michael J. Fox) learns from his father that being a werewolf runs in the family, and he decides to take advantage of his freakish trait. With his newfound strength and agility, Scott quickly becomes the hero of his school's basketball team and wins over longtime crush Pamela Wells (Lorie Griffin). O.A.R, at Busch Gardens
O.A.R., or Of a Revolution, is a shape-shifting rock band that is renowned for its vibrant live shows and powerful songs.
