Water Street gives first look at new mixed-use waterfront development

Water Street Tampa is the multi-billion dollar district changing the entire complexion of the former Channelside District. A waterfront food court featuring some of the best bites in all of Tampa Bay only recently debuted in the neighborhood.

If you haven’t been to Sparkman, go to Sparkman Wharf. That’s an order.

Garrison’s Tavern just opened inside the Marriott Waterside Hotel, in addition to offering elevated pub fare, that Tavern also feature Top Golf pods. An outdoor patio bar is also in the works for the hotel property.

Restaurant, retail and office space coming to Water Street

Today, Water Street Tampa officials unveiled renderings for a mixed-use development on the waterfront. The highly activated concept would feature loft-style workspaces and retail storefronts that complement the existing dining spaces, according to an Instagram post.

There are also proposed changes to the docks at Water Street that would make it far more accessible by water.

Renderings also reveal an expansive outdoor office terrace, and a swanky new restaurant with expanded access for cyclists.
