New restaurants continue to pop up across the Tampa Bay region, and Wandee is the latest feather in the cap of the area’s culinary scene. The Asian Fusion restaurant quietly opened in February 2022 and has already garnered a litany of admirers. For pho lovers, this may be your new favorite dining destination.
The restaurant’s exterior features a fabulous wall of greens, and a spacious outdoor patio to enjoy your food. I’d be remiss if I didn’t begin with dessert. The green tea mochi ice cream, served in a lovely martini glass, is such a pitch-perfect treat even during the “cooler” days of autumn/winter in Tampa Bay. Their mango sticky rice is also regarded as the best in the state.

Wandee’s crispy fried tofu is delectable, and while it’s meant to be shared, you’ll probably want to enjoy it all to yourself. The tasty shrimp in a blanket, and fish cakes covered in Thai curry sauce are also signature items.
Korean BBQ Beef, fried bananas with vanilla ice cream, and green curry with lobster come highly recommended from the kitchen. If you’re in the mood for something that looks fun and is simply delicious, the pineapple fried rice (served inside of a pineapple half) is super filling and oh-so good.
