The Viva Tampa Bay Festival returns to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park (600 N Ashley Dr.) on September 28 and 29, promising a vibrant celebration of Hispanic and Latino culture. This annual event, a highlight during National Hispanic Heritage Month, attracted more than 10,000 guests last year and continues to grow in popularity.

Tickets are available for $19.95 for a single day, with bundles starting at $49.90. The festival offers a rich variety of Latin culinary experiences, interactive partner activations, live musical performances, and displays from local Latin artisans. Orgaizers have even stated there will be a ferris wheel at the waterfront park during the festivities.

A centerpiece of the festival is the Viva Tampa Bay Community Heroes Awards, which honor the contributions and important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans in the United States. The festival showcases the rich history, heritage, and traditions of Tampa’s Hispanic community, creating a welcoming space for all to enjoy and celebrate together.
