Viral chicken and waffle cone concept, Chick’nCone, plans opening in Tampa

Fork utensils, this Chicken and Waffle Cone concept let’s you enjoy a full hearty meal with your hands β€” and it’s opening in Tampa. It’s basically Southern comfort on the go. Say hello to Chick’nCone.

Chick’nCone is a quick service concept that began in NYC. It didn’t take long for the grab and go chicken shop to go viral.

Its success in the Big Apple has allowed it to blossom with multiple franchises, which includes a pretty heavy expansion into Florida. Chick’nCone plans to open in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, in addition to it’s Tampa shop.

An official location in Tampa has not been announced yet, but the website says it will be headed by Jennifer Hall and Kyle Blanchard. So, what’s on the menu at this straw- and plastic-free restaurant?

Sauces flavors include a kicking ranch dressing, a Carolina-style BBQ, a cinnamon maple blend, a traditional BBQ and a buffalo bleu cheese.
