The school recently cut ties with the construction company that was set to build the stadium. Despite that, the school is firm that construction should begin in 2024 with the stadium ready for the Bulls’ 2026 season.
In the summer, USF Athletics received its largest gift in history from Tampa General Hospital. They provided a $25 million gift to help make a state-of-the-art training facility for college athletes a reality as part of USF’s major on-campus stadium project.
The Bulls are already having quite a season. For the first time in five seasons, the team (6-6; 4-4 American) is going bowling after another superlative five-touchdown day from redshirt freshman quarterback Byrum Brown.
The University of South Florida Bulls will take on Syracuse University at the 2023 RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl, at FAU Stadium, on December 21, at 8pm. Follow USF Athletics for more major sports updates.
