Opportunity to hike through historic harbor city

St. John’s is the oldest and most easterly city in North America. A top hiking spot amongst visitors is Signal Hill. The journey through the famous Battery leads to Cabot Tower, which served as a military guard post throughout the 1700s and 1800s. Atop the tower, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the harbor city and its skyline.

Perched on top of the horizon is The Rooms. This art gallery and museum  is situated next to the iconic twin clocktowers of the the Basilica of St. John’s.

Nonstop flights to Punta Cana and Cancun coming soon

This isn’t the only seasonal service. Beginning May 5, and running every Friday through June 9, Swift Air will provide service between Punta Cana and TPA. Sitting at the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana is famous for its nearly 20 mile stretch of beaches and clear water. The area is popular for zip-lining tours, windsurfing and sailing adventures.

May 12 through June 30, travelers from TPA will be able to enjoy nonstop flights to Cancun, the city on the Yucatan Peninsula. These flights can be booked on tour operator Vacation Express’s website. The famed spring break destination is made up of 2 distinct zones: El Centro and Zona Hotelera. The former is the more traditional downtown area while the latter is made up of high rise hotels, resorts, nightclubs and restaurants.
