The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Board of Directors approved a contract on Monday, selecting Delta Airlines as the anchor tenant for Airside D.

Delta currently operates one of our favorite nonstop international flights, connecting Tampa to the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

Delta has been an outstanding partner as one of Tampa International Airport’s longest-serving and largest carriers, and we’re excited to extend that partnership to TPA’s future Airside D,” said Airport CEO Joe Lopano. “This agreement will bring a world-class airline to a world-class facility, enhancing both our international and domestic routes. We look forward to continuing to uphold the high standards of excellence that both TPA and Delta are known for as we elevate the travel experience for our guests here in Tampa Bay.”

Delta currently operates out of six gates and a Delta Sky Club at Airside E.

In October 2024, Delta launched nonstop service from Tampa to Amsterdam, its busiest European destination. This year, Delta will also introduce a new nonstop service from Tampa Bay to Austin.

Follow TPA on Facebook and Instagram for more route announcements. TPA has launched a website where the public can learn more about Airside D and register for business opportunities.
