Tampa International Airport is one of our favorite places in the entire city. More than just a travel hub, it’s also a space for shopping, dining, and at least once a year for racing. On April 2 TPA’s 5K on the runway returns.
Spots fill up fast so you’ll want to secure your spot quick. Registration officially opens on January 15. You can secure your spot that day online (only the first 2,000 registrants will be able to race).

This event, like no other in the Tampa Bay area, gives participants the rare opportunity to run on the Airport’s Runway 10-28. The run benefits United Way Suncoast, an organization that supports community outreach programs and provides direct and significant impact to improve the lives of thousands of people in the Tampa Bay area.
Early registration is $35, and regular registration is $40.
This spring, TPA’s massive Flamingo Sculpture will also arrive.
