Timpano Italian Chophouse, a Hyde Park staple restaurant for more nearly two decades, will reopen this year. The massive concept took over the old Samba Room restaurant space back in 2005. Its sister concept in Ft. Lauderdale is also looking to reopen.
Hyde Park Village is a hotbed of activity. Florida favorites like The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, The Candle Pour, Buddy Brew, On Swann, Goody Goody and the newly open Hyde House co-work/events space have made it one of the most trafficked spots in the city. The sensational Forbici and Slyce Joint, and the emergence of national favorite like Lulu Lemon, bar taco, and Vineyard Vines have further enhanced its appeal for longtime residents and recent arrivals.

Timpano Tampa hiring ahead of reopening
Timpano’s Italian Chophouse is currently hiring for all positions. An official opening date hasn’t been announced just yet. You can follow the restaurant on Instagram for updates.

Calamari Fritto Misto: Italian cherry peppers, sweet pomodoro sauce
Watercress & Arugula: Blue cheese, spicy candied walnuts, granny smith apples, champagne vinaigrette dressing
Veal Short Rib Flatbread: Slow-braised veal, marinara, burrata mozzarella, parmesan, pickled red onions, mushrooms, truffle
Pan-seared Sea Scallops: Asparagus, sweet creamy polenta, lobster cream sauce
Butterscotch Bread Pudding: Buttery brioche, butterscotch custard
