Timpano in Hyde Park Village reopened at the end of 2021 to the delight of the entire Tampa community. The beloved concept from the Tavistock Restaurant Collection has served the city of Tampa for years. It’s one of our favorite date night spots in the city, by the way. Now Timpano is serving brunch in the city of Tampa.
Let’s begin by celebrating the most marvelous looking dish on the entire brunch menu: Molten Tiramisu French Toast. The dish that seems designed for social media features espresso brioche that is filled with delicious coffee cannoli cream, and cocoa nibs. One cut into this fluffy behemoth will create a super sweet morning eruption.

Timpano Hyde Park enlivens the local dining scene
Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Jason Saldutti and Tavistock Restaurant’s Vice President of Food & Beverage Michael Ferraro, Timpano’s refined and elevated menu will focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and feature a comfortably chic, rustically elegant and authentic Italian dishes like housemade rigatoni with charred tomatoes and Calabrian chilies, as well as pappardelle with crispy king oysters and a white miso black truffle. Seafood and steak options will be prevalent with Waygu beef, whole branzino and the return of guest favorite skillet-roasted mussels.

“To return to my Italian roots to reimagine the Timpano menu with Chef Saldutti was a rewarding experience,” said Ferraro. Both Ferraro and Saldutti are Italian Americans whose passions for cooking comes from growing up in their family kitchens. “We wanted to recreate the dishes we love by using the most authentic and freshest ingredients, while adding a Timpano twist that we believe the Hyde Park community will love.”
