Homemade Broadcast Presents "We're Still Here"
 
 
We're Still Here is a showcase of some of the best comics in Tampa Bay. The Homemade Broadcast has slowly revived the comedy scene along with Cigar City Comedy, Sly Bar, Enigma and Creative Loafing! On Friday, April 24, the wit, satire, depravity and humor of the area will culminate in a night of unforgettable comedy. Event begins at 8:30pm. FREE and open to the public. Across the Bridge for the 2015 Firestone Grand Prix (All Weekend) 
 
 
The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is run on a 1.8-mile, 14-turn waterfront circuit that includes a combination of adjacent downtown streets circling Pioneer Park, the DukeEnergy Center for the Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum and extending onto the runways at Albert Whitted Airport, which overlook the Tampa Bay and picturesque St. Petersburg Harbor and Marina. The excitement and buzz of the race brings a myriad of visitors to the Burg and local businesses pull out all the stops for events in the city. The Grand Prix will also feature entertainment for spectators. There will be a go-kart track, a ferris wheel, clowns, rock climbing, face painting and more! The Firestone Grand Prix takes place from March 27-29 in St. Pete.
 
 
Gasparilla International Film Festival (All Weekend) 
 
 
Thru March 29th the lights, buzz and energy of the film industry arrive in Tampa. The Channelside Plaza will play host to the rising stars and legends of cinema as they screen their passion projects to the public. Experience live armored jousting, 12 stages of entertainment, 7 theme weekends, and fun and food for the whole family! The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is a first-class experience. Tampa Riverwalk Kennedy Segment Opening and The Plank Pop-Up Bar (All Weekend)

“The Plank,” Tampa’s first waterfront pop-up bar, will open along the Riverwalk in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Friday night following the ribbon cutting of Kennedy Plaza. The waterfront bar will remain open all weekend for drink and food service. The name and concept are an homage to the wooden planks which were originally sold as part of the Tampa Riverwalk, and it will remain open throughout the weekend. Sono Café is a proud partner for this project and will be managing food service for the three day installation. The pop –up bar is a concept developed by Friends of the Riverwalk to encourage waterfront destinations along the Riverwalk and is sponsored by Bud Light. Ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 6pm. Food truck vendors will be there and will include a screening of the film "Dolphin Tale." There will also be special guests from Lowry Park Zoo and the Florida Aquarium. FREE and open to the public. Gasp! Gasparilla Fringe Festival

Presented by Creative Loafing and Tampa Museum of Art, Gasp! features the best in dance, theater, improv, poetry, art, music and every other creative medium under the sun. For those who adore the arts and want to support the innovative ideas and individuals who are making Tampa a destination for creatives, you need to attend this event. 6-10pm. Tickets are $30 at the door, VIP admission is $75 at the door. Gasp! at the Tampa Museum Of Art, 120 West Gasparilla Plaza.

Tampa Pride Parade
 
 
Tampa Pride will culminate on Saturday March 28th. They will have a parade, festival, auto show, family fun area, food trucks, a beer garden, and celebrate all that is being GLBTA or an ally in the Tampa area! They've chosen the gem of the Tampa area, Ybor City, to be the home to our parade and festival. The GLBTA history of Tampa couldn't be told without Ybor CIty.  They'll also have events throughout the city including bar fund raisers, restaurant tastings and a host of GLBTA-related activities. Entertainment starts at 10am in Centro Ybor and the parade follows at 1pm down Ybor City's 7th Avenue. Event is FREE and open to the public. World's Largest Food Truck Rally EVER at Florida State Fairgrounds (Saturday & Sunday)

Each year, thousands of food-truck lovers descend on Tampa Bay’s Florida State Fairgrounds for the World’s Largest Food Truck Rally. And they mean what they say: the 2014 rally made the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Parade of Food Trucks after 121 trucks from across the country traveled together to the Fairgrounds. How many trucks will join the rally in 2015? Two days, one food truck rally record. Help Tampa stake its claim, once again, as the home of the world’s largest food truck festival. Event runs from 11am-8pm on Saturday and from 11am-6pm on Sunday. FREE admission. Event takes place at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 US 301. 
 
 
 
Eric Church at Amalie Arena
 
 
Eric Church brings "The Outsiders World Tour" to Amalie Arena this Saturday. Know for hits like "Hell on the Heart," "Drink in My Hand," and "Springsteen," Church has carved out a spot in country and music history. His show begins at 7:30pm. Tickets between $28.25-$62.75. The Mad Tea Party

Tampa can celebrate their un-birthday with Alice, The Queen of Hearts, and the maddest one of all, The Hatter himself. The Mad Tea Party will consist of a silent auction, poetry reading, specialty treats and teas, playing cards, and a performance of excerpts from Tampa Ballet Theatre’s Alice in Wonderland. The event’s purpose is to help Tampa Ballet Theatre raise funds for their upcoming performance, Alice in Wonderland. The event begins at 4pm. Tickets are $18 per person (limited number of seat available). You can purchase your tickets by calling 813.814.0587 or online. Party will be held at Tampa Ballet Theatre 12720 DuPont Circle. 
 
 
Jay Leno Live at Straz
