The Loft is Historic Ybor City’s new elevated bar and food hub. The concept is located in the historic old church at 1909 N 15th Street (formerly the home of Cerealholic). Its transformation into an elevated bar was the focus of a recent episode of Bar Rescue. The establishment hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony back in April. You can watch clips from the episode here.
Owners Lisa and James Lawson were brought to tears at the transformation. A quirky rooster mural (an homage to Ybor City), chic blue lights outside, and welcoming candlelight inside have transformed the funky Cerealholic space into Ybor’s next great hangout space.

Guests can enjoy a hearty brunch at The Loft, which includes favorites such as chicken and waffles, crispy grilled cheese dips, BBQ pork nachos, a Cubano panini, and a bacon and jam breakfast sandwich. The space has become known for its drag brunch extravaganza’s.

The journey of this historic space (that is also allegedly haunted) was documented for Bat Rescue. Diners can enjoy breakfast every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm. In addition to country-style favorites, the restaurant also offers up biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, and huge pancake platters.
