Last week a new private club, The Elliott, was announced in the heart of downtown Tampa at 500 E Kennedy Blvd. The building, designed by renowned architect M. Leo Elliott, will be “transformed into a private club named after its designer – The Elliott,” wrties Ellison Builds on Instagram.

The 40,000-square-foot club is being co-developed by Courtney and Jason Kuhn of Kuhn Automotive Group. The project is slated to feature “several bars, a jazz lounge, a wellness center, rooftop garden terrace, cigar room and event space,” adds Ellison Builds. “We can’t wait to get to work for the Kuhn Family and make their vision come to life!”

Ellison Construction is a prolific company with myriad projects in the Tampa Bay region. These projects include The Nolen in St. Pete, and the Central City YMCA in Tampa Heights. This is in addition to an impressive portfolio that includes Sparkman Wharf, Armature Works, Oxford Exchange, and Hotel Haya.

This building was the former home of The Attic Cafe, which has since moved into a much larger space at 1920 E 7th Avenue.

Construction on The Elliott should be behind this summer. More information regarding membership costs and a full opening timeline will be updated as more details become available.
