It’s back! The Cross-Bay Ferry pulled up in the Vinoy Yacht Basin in St. Petersburg and will soon beginning carrying passengers once again between Downtown Tampa and the Sunshine City.
The vessel can carry up to 149 passengers at a time with indoor and outdoor seating. Regular 2-wheel bicycles can be stored on the ferry. During the pandemic, the Ferry limited its capacity to just 50%, and it may continue implementing those COVID-19 precautions once operational.
