Vendors line the covered porch, each offering their own specialties. Among the most popular are the hot food stalls, where you can find fried bananas, pad thai, and guiteow—a flavorful beef or pork noodle soup. These stalls often draw long lines of eager patrons. Meanwhile, other prepared delights such as mango sticky rice, spring rolls, and a variety of Thai desserts are readily available.

Be prepared to wait in line, other items may be sold out by 12pm, so make sure to arrive early to enjoy all that this market has to offer. You can learn more on Wat Tampa’s official website.

The temple grounds themselves have a rich history. While the current temple was constructed in 2007, the site has been home to a temple since 1983. The market remains a cherished tradition, inviting the community to experience the tastes and culture of Thailand right in Tampa.
