Tessa’s Sweet Kafe is a new 5-star Korean Fried Chicken spot in Tampa

There’s a new must visit restaurant in the Tampa area, and its name is Tessa’s Sweet Kafe. Sweet may be in the name, but their spicy sauce seems to be bringing in the crowds. The concept features several variations on Korean Fried Chicken, the one with fried walnuts is super popular here. You can visit the Korean Fried Chicken hub near USF Tampa at 18101 Highwoods Preserve Parkway Suite 100.

This restaurant doesn’t lack in flair, either. Tessa’s Sweet Kafe is covered in flowers. The walls, and the chairs are blooming, you’ll feel like you’ve entered the fried chicken version of Eden. Diners can enjoy an array of fruit teas including lychee and mango, in addition to strawberry, taro, and Oreo milk teas.

Tessa’s has gained renown for its Pork Katsu Kimbap. The dish is Kimbap filled with daikons, carrots, eggs, cheese, sausage, wrapped in dried seaweed wrapped again with breaded pork deep-fried. We highly recommend you visit this spot on an empty stomach.

If you need to cool off, then you can always indulge in their sparkly fruit teas.

Not too far from this new fried chicken hotspot is the newly opened Mochinut, just in case you need to satiate that sweet tooth even more. In the very same plaza at mochi nut is the unique and marvelous halal candy shop Roasted!.

“Great food, drinks, and Bingsu! We got the KFC in 2 sauces, the honey garlic and ghost spicy. Perfectly fried, delicious sauce. It is better than Bonchon…The bulgogi was yum! We also got sparkling lychee drinks and it has tea lychees in it. But the Bingsu!!!! We are super excited to have a Bingsu place close to our house now. We used to drive 30 mins for Bingsu. We got the mango and red bean. 10/10. “

Those in the area also need to go out of their way to visit Felicitous in Temple Terrace, it may be the dreamiest cafe in all of Florida.
