Tampa Ranked Among Top Cities for Dog Walking

To no surprise, Tampa has been ranked one of the top 10 most “walkable” cities for dogs by care.com. The three factors determining this rating were average minutes per dog walk, the amount of dog parks per 10,000 residents, and the city’s official “WalkScore.” Tampa is ranked 4th on the list. From nature paths to bustling dog-friendly venues this city is full of adventure for man’s best friend. Walking your dog is extremely important to your pet’s health, but to an owner this task can sometimes feel like a chore. However, with palm tree paths leading to pet-friendly destinations Tampa has transformed dog walking from a dull task into the best experience of the day. It’s safe to say pups, as well as owners, would rate this city five paws.
