Tampa International Airport looks to fill more than 300 positions at in-person job fair

Tampa International Airport will host a job fair on May 4, and organizers hope to fill more than 300 open positions that day.

People are traveling again. As more American received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the urge to travel again just gets bigger. Tampa International Airport has long been lauded as one of the top tier airports in the country. The bounty of local concessions, exceptional customer service, and routes to nearly anywhere your heart desires make it a local treasure. TPA is now gearing up for a greater travel demand, and that means bringing on more staff.

At TPA’s hiring day the airport hopes to fill more than 300 positions. Here’s the full rundown from the airport:

Shops: Cashiers, sales associates, Supervisors and more!
Rental Car: Varying positions with five different rental car companies
TPA’s parking operator
Airport logistics

The hiring event begins at 9am on May 4 and takes place on Level 3 of the Main Terminal (in between Hard Rock and P.F. Chang’s).

You won’t need to pre-register in order to attend. More details can be found on Tampa International Airport’s website. If you’d like to partake in a virtual interview, then you must pre-register online.

TPA adds nonstop routes to top destinations

Since the outset of the pandemic, TPA has implemented myriad protocols and technological advancements to ensure the best passenger experience possible. Recently, the airport launched TPA To Go. Passengers, visitors and employees at Tampa International Airport can now have food delivered directly to them throughout any Airport location with a new online ordering service.

Those looking to get away might consider hopping on one of the new nonstop routes to Austin, TX. Direct routes to Savannah, GA also launched this year.
