Since its inception two years ago, Tampa Indie Flea has been a staple in the heart of Tampa Heights. Every third Sunday, behind the iconic blue doors of the Rialto Theatre, people flock to find a host of products from local makers ranging from handmade jewelry, screen printed t-shirts, vintage treasures, dry succulent gardens and beyond.
With the increased popularity, the market is finding that it is time to move to a new space to accommodate the steady growth. Starting in January, Indie Flea will be assembling in the Armature Works, their largest market hall yet.
“We’re focused on creating real value, exposure and goodwill for local creatives with various design backgrounds…Indie Flea and Armature Works share a deep commitment to supporting local commerce and with our increased capacity we’re able to bring even more vendors together to showcase their products.”- Seanissey Loughlin of Indie Flea
Vendors will be moving into the Gathering, the largest indoor event space at Armature Works. The Gathering is over 10,000 square feet and features exposed brick, reclaimed wood flooring and views to an open-air courtyard allowing access to the Heights Public Market.
Fans of Indie Flea can enjoy one more market at the Rialto Theatre. The final market takes place this Sunday, December 17 from 12-4pm. The Rialto is located 1617 N Franklin St, Tampa, FL 33602.
