A new food truck in Tampa is quickly becoming a downtown favorite. Two Peas in a Pot (223 N 12th Street) is earning rave reviews as one of the best burger joints in the area. Multiple DMs have flooded our channels, proclaiming this as one of the very best burger joints in the city. We haven’t tried it yet, but the amalgamation of 5-star reviews is hard to deny.
The standout dish is their mouthwatering chopped cheese quesadilla, a flavorful combination of ground beef, onion and jalapeño mixture, candied bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, and its signature Sturdy Sauce.

Lauren Toz shared her glowing experience in a 5-star review: “I had this for dinner tonight and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were gold. The meats were juicy, and portions were big. The owners are great and they are bringing taste and vibes to Channelside.” We love to see generous portions.

In addition to burgers, the menu features thick oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, a stacked chicken cutlet sandwich, and a four-cheese “smackin” mac’n’cheese.
But it’s the smash burgers that truly shine. The Sturdy Burger, in particular, comes with two smash patties, caramelized onions, a jalapeño mixture, American cheese, candied bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Sturdy Sauce.
