Sous Kitchen delivers a wild array of flavorful empanadas

We love empanadas, and finally we are getting a celebration dedicated to the steamy, crispy, savory snacks. The inaugural Tampa empanada festival is set for April 8 at Common Dialect Beerworks (5023 N Florida Ave) from 12pm-7pm. Good news, everyone, this event is totally free to attend. The celebration is presented by Brewed Life Festivals, renowned for their myriad food-centric festivals in the Tampa Bay region.

There are currently 7 confirmed vendors for the festival next weekend:

One vendor we are quite familiar with is Stuft Gourmet Foods – these legends whipped up a Caramelized Apple Whiskey Flambé and Brie Cheese hand pie Dusted with Cinnamon Sugar. Other teased menu items include shredded beef, smoked pork, seasoned chicken, and sweet ripe banana empanadas.

During the event, you can enjoy the great atmosphere and impressive beer list offered by the newly opened Common Dialect Brewery. More details about the festival and participating vendors can be found on the official event page.
