Get ready for a huge outdoor Easter egg hunt at beautiful Julian B Lane Riverfront Park. Downtown Tampa’s largest egg hunt returns for its second year on Saturday, April 8. Ashley’s Eggsploration, brought to you by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, will have people of all ages searching for thousands of eggs scattered throughout Julian B. Lane Park. New this year, Ashley—this year’s title sponsor—will be hiding a select number of golden eggs, which will lead to grand prizes.

Participants can start their scavenger hunt for eggs between 9am and noon. Each age group will be given a specific combination of eggs to find in order to redeem a prize, including the chance to win a Tampa Bay staycation for egg hunters age 18 and up. All participants are encouraged to bring their own basket or take advantage of a bag decorating station (while supplies last).

Golden eggs will be hidden at Tampa’s largest Easter egg hunt event

“Last year’s inaugural event was so successful, we knew we had to bring it back this year,” said Lynda Remund, President and CEO of the Tampa Downtown Partnership. “We love providing a fun environment where families can create life-long memories. I think this will become an Easter tradition for many years to come.”

The Easter Bunny will be on site for photo opportunities. Guests can also enjoy brunch-themed items from food trucks, a moon bounce, face painters, balloon artists, music, and family-friendly activities. Please note that alcohol will not be served at this event. The celebration runs until 1pm. For more information, visit the official event website
