The Tampa concerts and live events you can’t miss in 2021

Tampa concerts are being announced daily, and a slew of major acts are planning to visit the city this summer and fall. Here are the shows and events on the horizon so far.

It’s been announced that major acts such as The Jonas Bothers, the Backstreet Boys, and Chris Stapleton will bring concerts to Tampa.

This is a quick breakdown of the Tampa concerts, and live events you can’t miss this and next year.

Tampa Pride Festival: May 22

Tampa Pride officially returns on May 22, and the programming will include a street festival with local vendors, a craft show, a food alley, and a Pride at Night Event at the Cuban Club.

New this year will be the Pride at Night fun inside the iconic Tampa Cuban Club, and in the Cuban Club’s outdoor courtyard. The Cuban Club’s outdoor facilities have over 40,000 square feet available with a permanent bar.

Broadway is Back at The Straz Center

roadway season ticket packages include these eight shows:  TOOTSIE, CATS, SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, THE PROM, Disney’s FROZEN, MY FAIR LADY, THE BAND’S VISIT and PRETTY WOMAN in Morsani Hall.

Dear Evan Hanson will be the special Broadway Encore performance.

Backstreet Boys: DNA Tour at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater: June 21

Backstreet’s back, all right. Everybody, Backstreet Boys are coming to Tampa on June 21.

Dave Matthews Band at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater: July 28

Dave Matthews Band is coming to Tampa. The highly popular ensemble hits the city this July. Those interested in attending the concert can reserve tickets online.

Tampa Bay Comic Con: July 30-August 1

Tampa Bay Comic Convention is a comic book convention located in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa Convention Center. Featured are comic books, toys, celebrity guests, comic creators, cosplay, panels, and so much more!

Rod Stewart with Cheap Trick at AMALIE Arena: August 14

Sir Rod Stewart has sold more than 250 million records worldwide during a stellar career that includes ten #1 albums and 26 Top 10 singles in the U.K.; plus 17 Top 10 albums and 16 Top 10 singles in the U.S.

Chris Stapleton at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater: August 26

Chris Stapleton, the iconic and award-winning country music star, will bring his American Road Show to Tampa this August. Stapleton may be best known for his hit song Tennessee Whiskey.

Gasparilla Music Fest: October 1-3

Gasparilla Music Festival is back this October at Curtis Hixon Park. A full lineup is still TBA, but the long celebrated multi-day event is also a major attraction for some of the best bands in the world.

Harry Styles at AMALIE Arena: October 10

Harry Styles is bringing his world tour, ‘Love On Tour,’ in support of his album Fine Line to Tampa’s AMALIE Arena!

The Jonas Brothers at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater: October 16

The Jonas Brothers are back on tour! The band has enjoyed success both together and apart, and two acclaimed documentaries showed the journey the three took to reach the heights they have in the music and entertainment industry.

Darius Rucker at Tampa. Pig Jig: October 23

Each Fall, the Tampa Pig Jig brings incredible live music, delicious food, ice-cold beer, and a fierce corporate barbecue competition to downtown Tampa’s waterfront. But it’s more than just a good time, the Tampa Pig Jig is a philanthropic event that raises money for NephCure Kidney International, the only nonprofit organization committed to supporting research, improving treatment, and finding a cure for the debilitating kidney disease, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome.

Legendary performer Darius Rucker is set to perform at the event. Judah and The Lion, Brett Young, and Wilderado will also perform at the event.

One Night with Nicki Glaser at Tampa Theatre: November 5

Tampa Theatre and AEG Presents are proud to announce that comedian Nikki Glaser is making Tampa Theatre a stop on her One Night With Nikki Glaser Tour at 7:00pm Friday, November 5.

Nikki Glaser is one of the funniest female voices in comedy today. For over a decade at clubs across the country and as the host of three hit podcasts, she has been honing her shockingly- honest, no-holds barred style of comedy.
