The City of Tampa opened two comfort stations to support residents affected by Hurricane Helene, offering essential services like food, water, restrooms, and charging stations. With recovery efforts fully underway, Tampa partnered with Hillsborough County and the Florida Department of Emergency Management to activate these stations.

Located at Desoto Park (2617 Corrine St) and Marjorie Park (97 Columbia Dr), the stations provide free meals, ice, showers, laundry assistance, and permit review services for storm damage repairs. The comfort stations, which opened Monday at 7am, will remain open daily until 7pm, continuing this schedule until further notice.
