Tampa has a host of incredible local breweries. The proliferation of top tier spots for a good drink have put Tampa on the map for beer enthusiasts. A recent list from USA Today’s 10Best ranked Tampa as the 7th best beer city in America.
Tampa, and the greater Tampa area, is home to a stunning selection of 103 craft breweries, according to Drink Local Florida. 10Best contributor Jared Ranahan points out that “it’s the birthplace of Jai Alai IPA by Cigar City Brewing, a popular American IPA-style beer using six different hop varietals.”

This list also includes breweries in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and surrounding cities in the region. Recently, Tampa’s own Zydeco Brew Werk’s was ranked as one of the top brew pubs in America.
