Tampa Bay Lightning Boat Parade set for Monday, July 12

The Tampa Bay Lightning are Stanley Cup Champions, and now it’s time to celebrate. The Lightning will hold their Stanley Cup boat parade on Monday, July 12.

Tampa Mayor Jane Castor made the news official during a press conference.

Players will board the boats at 10am, and the event will officially kick off at 11am. The procession will head down the Hillsborough River and follow the Tampa Riverwalk.

Don’t worry, if Stanley takes a swim there are divers ready to retrieve it.

A championship celebration will take place at 2pm at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park. You can find all the celebration details online here, in addition to the official parade route.
