Does anyone else miss Blockbuster? Tampa Bay Comic Con, set to take place this weekend (August 23-25) at the Tampa Convention Center (333 S Franklin St), is bringing a nostalgic treat for attendees: the Blockbuster Video Experience.
This unique experience promises to transport fans back to the heyday of video rentals, offering everything you remember about Blockbuster and more. Highlights include a huge collection of 10,000 DVDs and VHS tapes “available for rent forever,” along with original “The Last Blockbuster” documentary merchandise, iconic movie props, and numerous photo opportunities. Attendees will also get to enjoy the distinctive Blockbuster smell.

A special guest at the event will be Sandi Harding, the manager of the last remaining Blockbuster store and a key figure in the popular documentary “The Last Blockbuster.” Fans will have the chance to meet Harding and show their support for the final Blockbuster on Earth.
