Childhood dream come true: Super Nintendo World is opening on May 22. The massive addition to Universal Orlando include Super Nintendo World, and will see characters such as Mario, Donkey Kong, and Link busting onto the scene in Orlando. This is worth the trip to Central Florida in our opinion, but let’s hope a Brightline route from Tampa to Orlando happens sometime soon.

As the most ambitious project ever undertaken by Universal Destinations and Experiences, it stands poised to become a game-changer in the industry. The park boasts over 50 attractions, ranging from cutting-edge rides to dazzling entertainment, immersive dining, and themed shopping.

Epic Universe spans five themed worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Each world promises unique adventures and unparalleled immersion. At the heart of the park, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews property, offers 500 rooms and exclusive views of the park. Hotel guests can enjoy a dedicated entrance to Epic Universe with valid theme park admission, adding an extra layer of convenience and luxury.

A huge opening week at Universal this spring

The opening of Epic Universe will transform Universal Orlando Resort into a weeklong vacation destination. With this addition, Universal Orlando will feature four thrilling theme parks and 11 resort hotels, each offering unique experiences. This expansion promises to elevate the resort into a must-visit destination for travelers seeking cutting-edge attractions and unforgettable memories.

“This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year,” said Karen Irwin, President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort. “With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic! Our Universe will never be the same.”
