One of Tampa Bay’s best and biggest seafood festivals is back for a sprawling 10th anniversary celebration. The SunWest Crab & Shrimp Festival, Sponsored by Florida’s Sports Coast and RJ Kielty Heating and Cooling, is taking over the picturesque SunWest Park in Hudson on Saturday and Sunday, February 22 and 23.
The 10th annual festival is a true seafood extravaganza, showcasing some of the best chefs, food trucks, and restaurants from all across Florida. Attendees can spend the full weekend dining on everything from classic shrimp boils and delicious crab cakes to fresh-battered fish and chips, lobster rolls, stone crab claws, and much more.
This year’s festival is expected to be the biggest one yet, and the family-friendly event features far more than just the delectable seafood it’s so loved for. The entire weekend is full of lively entertainment including popular regional bands and supremely talented tribute groups. There is also a sprawling vendor market showcasing local makers, artists, shops, and purveyors of seafood goods. It’s an excellent opportunity to peruse unique treasures, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind finds.
Tickets to the SunWest Crab & Shrimp Festival are $10, and those who order during early-bird can get BOGO tickets as long as supplies last. Children under 18 get free entry to the festival grounds. Festivities take place 11 am – 8 pm on Saturday, and 11 am – 6 pm on Sunday.
Plus, along with all the great food, music, and shopping, the SunWest Crab & Shrimp Festival also happens to take place at one of the most picturesque event locations in all of Tampa Bay. Festivities take place at the stunning SunWest Park in Hudson, bathing fest-goers in Gulf breeze and warm sunshine.
