4/9 – Rubblebucket @ Crowbar, Ybor City

Tuesday night shows always help our weeks feel a little more joyous. The Brooklyn based musical couple comprised of Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth is gracing Tampa with their indie pop at the intimate venue that is Crowbar. Their album, Sun Machine, was one of our favorite releases of 2018 so naturally, we are psyched.

4/9–14 Dear Evan Hansen @ The Straz

Fresh off their Hamilton stint, The Straz is bringing yet another impactful piece of Broadway musical history to Tampa Bay. Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of a high school senior named Evan Hansen who, like many other students today, suffers from anxiety and depression.

When another loner classmate commits suicide, he gets cornered and ends up telling the family they were friends even though they most definitely were not. It leads Evan down a twisting path of lies, the student body & school on a road to improvement, and the audience to question if the ends really justify the means. Don’t miss out on tickets.

4/11 KISS @ Amalie Arena

After an impressive 45-year rock n’ roll career, the band is putting away the face paint and guitars. As one of the cities chosen as part of the legendary rock band’s farewell tour, Tampa KISS fans have the chance to say goodbye. The band promises that it’s their biggest show yet. This will be one for the history books. Get your tickets to see the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famers here.

4/19 Omar Apollo @ Crowbar

Hailing from Indiana, this Mexican-American musician’s smooth soulful voice and R&B flair has landed him on the Ones to Watch list and on the 2019 SXSW roundup. Now, he’s taking a detour through Tampa Bay. We have a feeling that this might be one of the last times you can catch him at a venue this intimate. Don’t miss out, get tickets here.

5/7 Lucy Dacus @ Crowbar

With a crooning voice that is downright angelic and soulful as hell at the same time, Lucy Dacus is returning to Tampa Bay. We recommend studying up by checking not only her sophomore album, historian, but her freshman album No Burden as well. While you’re it, be sure to give the band boygenius a listen. It’s the powerhouse combo of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus all in one glorious ensemble. Buy tickets to her show here.

5/8 HONNE @ Ritz Ybor

Back to back nights in Ybor City? Absolutely worth it to see both Lucy Dacus and HONNE in one week. This artist has been on every “night vibes” playlist we’ve ever made. His sultry voice and metro sound will make you swoon. Don’t just take our word for it, get your tickets here.

5/9 Rufus du Sol @ Cuban Club

We’re excited to hear their international electronic bliss melt into the historic heart of Ybor City. Due to popular demand, this stopover on their Solace North American tour was moved from Jannus Live in downtown St. Pete to the Cuban Club. This night is going to make your feet dance and your spirit soar, pinky promise. Purchase tickets here.

5/28 – Ariana Grande @ Amalie Arena

Ariana Grande has been shattering records left and right with not just one but two back to back albums in 2018. It’s no question whether she’ll be sure to deliver a show-stopping performance when the Sweetener World Tour comes to Amalie Arena. Be sure to get tickets here before they sell out.

5/15 Pile @ Crowbar

Making their way down to Ybor City all the way from Boston Massachusetts is rock band, Pile. Guitars on top of guitars on top of a ripping rock vocal make up their wonderfully layered sound. Don’t miss out, get your tickets here.
