Sparkman Wharf to Introduce Sustainable Oyster and Seafood Dining Concept

Joining Foundation Coffee, Whatever Pops, and recently announced Gallito, Boat Run Oyster Company, a new concept developed by Tampa-based SaltBlock Hospitality, will be located within the dining garden at Sparkman Wharf, Tampa’s new waterfront destination for work, outdoor recreation and dining.

Boat Run Oyster Company is a tide-to-table concept, celebrating the most sustainably-raised, diverse, and delicious oysters from around the world, as well as, locally-grown on their farm in Cedar Key, FL. Boat Run will serve a menu of freshly-shucked raw and chargrilled oysters and seasonal Florida favorites, such as local shrimp rolls and stone crab.

“Sparkman Wharf offered a unique opportunity to take part in the exciting redevelopment of Tampa’s downtown urban landscape. We are also thrilled to collaborate with SPP and work alongside such creative and talented restauranteurs,” said Ryan Conigliaro, co-founder of Boat Run Oyster Company.

Together, the dining garden concepts will celebrate great food and community, with inventive new ideas and menus not found anywhere else in the city.

Currently under construction by Tampa-based contractor EWI, the dining garden, biergarten, and
recreational lawn are slated to open in October 2018.
