This lush space is fitted with enchanting ivy that drapes from the ceiling. A more intimate dining space in the back is retrofitted with wooden barrel lights. Greenery is visible along the diving lines of booths, and a serene water fountain is set at the center of the restaurant space.
Seaglass Tavern offers myriad options on its robust menu. It assures that the restaurant can suit your most indulgent cravings and your more refined needs. The Tavern style Hush Puppies with spicy mayo are ever so fluffy on the inside, with a perfectly crisp exterior to provide that ASMR inducing crunch.
The fried fish sandwich topped with mango jicama slaw may be one of the best lunch items you’ll find in the entire Tampa Bay region. Their thick, wedge cut fries could honestly serve as a meal all by themselves.
Seaglass Tavern also offers up a bountiful seafood celebration complete with crispy baguette. There’s nothing more satisfying than that first bite into crip bread dripping with seafood broth. This dish came in addition to a deep dish of southern-style shrimp and cheese grits. If you’re in the market for a mouthwatering cheese pull, then this brunch/lunch/dinner essential is a must try.
The bartenders also serve up some next level tropical cocktails to pair with the dynamic menu. A few bartender recommended cocktails include:
- Sorry Mom: Mezcal, chile liquor, lime juice, egg white, raspberries, agave.
- Blue Moon: Gin, dry vermouth, bitter truth, violet liquor, orange bitters.
- Empress Sour: Empress 1908 gin, lime juice, vanilla syrup, coconut milk.
- Flight of Passion: Bourbon, Apperol, lime juice and passion fruit syrup.
The restaurant is currently open for weekend brunch, and lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Their shrimp cocktail appetizer with perfectly grilled pineapple was an absolute hit at the table if you’re seeking an easy crowd pleaser. One surprise on the menu was the veggie pizza. These hand tossed pies are made fresh. Our pie was covered in fresh veggie pie was covered in green pepper, onion, tomato, mushroom and crunchy greens.
