Sal Rosa, a Caribbean and Central American-inspired restaurant, will open inside Le Meridien Hotel (601 N Florida Ave) in downtown Tampa in September. An official opening date is still TBA. This will take over the former Bizou Brasserie (RIP to my favorite eclair in the city).

“Experience the essence of the Caribbean and Central American flavors at the all-new Sal Rosa, launching in September 2023,” writes the ownership team on Instagram. “Indulge in fusion cuisine, savor the excellence of Illy Coffee, and treat yourself to artisanal homemade ice cream.”

On August 30, the restaurant posted the following: “Get your taste buds ready for a culinary delight! Our upcoming restaurant, Sal Rosa, is all set to serve up something incredibly delicious just for you. Get ready to savor the flavors like never before!”

Keep up with the restaurant, and updates on its menu and grand opening date, by following it on Instagram, as well as Le Meridien.
