Rooster & the Till Owner Reveals Big Plans for Nebraska Mini Mart

Seminole Heights evolves by the day. The food and fun haven looks to grow further with the Nebraska Mini Mart — a major concept from Ferrell Alvarez, chef/owner of Rooster & the Till. Proposed plans for the Mini Mart concept include a dog park, bocce and shuffleboard courts, chess sets, a shaded outdoor patio area and a walk-up food spot serving global street fare.

The Mini Mart comprises 1.3 acres at 4815 North Nebraska Avenue. The family- and dog-friendly concept will be replete with green space in the burgeoning neighborhood. Alvarez is working with Junto Design Studio to create the project.

In an Instagram post on Feb. 2, Alvarez revealed that an operating agreement had been signed and permitting from the project is underway. While we wait for this idea to come to true fruition, we’ll continue to whet our appetite with the amazing and award-winning culinary creations at Rooster & the Till in the Seminole Heights Neighborhood.
