One of Seminole Heights staple restaurants is closing its doors for good. The owners of The Refinery made the announcement on Facebook on July 25.

When will it close? August 3.

Chef Greg released a menu along with a note that it would be the final menu in their celebrated tenure.

“Here is the final menu for The Refinery, a list comprised of items we really liked from the first year in business,” the restaurant owners wrote in a Facebook post. “The menu is the same format we used, way back then.”

Chef Greg plans to relax for a while after The Refinery closes. Michelle, on the other hand, has big plans for Tampa.

The post notes that she will be opening The Idyllwild, a catering & event hall. An opening date and address are still TBA.

“It’s been an honor to be able to serve y’all since 2010,” Chef Greg wrote. After nine years, we’re sad to see this culinary gem go.

The final menu includes bourbon and spice glazed snapper, pork belly, miso BBQ mushrooms and double cut pork chop, among other items.

For dessert, the chef is whipping up naner pudding tiramisu and a doughnut sandwich filled with lavender, peach, berries and marshmallows.

The Refinery is located at 5910 N Florida Avenue.
