Raw Smoothie Co. & Spaddy’s Coffee open in South Tampa

Exterior of a new smoothie and coffee bar

Coffee, smoothies, and South Tampa: That’s a combo I’m very much here for. Spaddy’s Coffee might be one of my favorite hangout spots in Seminole Heights. It’s like a caffeinated art garden, y’all. Raw Smoothie Co. was making açaí bowls before it was cool. The organic smoothie purveyors have long been a bright spot on North Howard Avenue.

With two established, and respected presences in the city of Tampa, it’s like the healthy Avengers have assembled! The two will exist under the same roof at 6102 South MacDill Avenue.

A grand opening is set for Saturday, December 7 from 10am-4pm.

I have a lot of respect for Raw Smoothie Co. The veteran-owned shop is one of the eco-friendly pioneers in Tampa. Raw smoothie co. only uses Recycled, Eco-friendly, and Biodegradable packaging, Napkins, and straws.

I haven’t experienced everything on the menu, but I’m a huge fan of the NoHo PB&J bowl. The mix features almond milk, honey, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple with gluten-free granola. It’s damn good, y’all.

I haven’t tasted the Dragon Ball P, but the name kind of sells me on the bowl. It’s a quick mix of pitaya, pineapple, and apple juice.

If you’re looking for a morning kick, the Rise & Grind Bowl is topped with banana, Brown Bear Espresso Beans, almond milk, cocoa, honey, and peanut butter.

Spaddy’s matcha latte will forever be by morning go-to, and I’m thrilled to pair it with a super vibrant raw smoothie bowl.
