Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will face the Washington Football Team in a Wild Card Game on Saturday, January 9. This will be Brady’s first post season game with Tampa Bay, and the entire region is ready to get behind this surging NFL squad.
Ahead of the NFL postseason, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor will drop a Tampa Bay Buccaneers banner at City Hall, supporting the Buccaneers’ journey to the Super Bowl. Mayor Castor will also challenge residents and other regional leaders to “raise the flags” and show support in their respective districts for unified team spirit across Tampa Bay.

The Bucs’ WR Mike Evans became the first NFL player to record 1,000 receiving yards in his first seven seasons in Tampa Bay’s decisive victory over the Atlanta Falcons on January 3.
Evans went down with an injury right after the record-setting play, but is considered day-to-day ahead of the Bucs’ big Wild Card Game.
This year, the Super Bowl will be hosted inside Raymond James Stadium, so the Bucs surge to the big game is filled with extra excitement.
