Pops in the Park is the Florida Orchestra’s biggest event of the year, and it’s headed to the amazing Julian B Lane Riverfront Park on Sunday, May 14. Pack a blanket and picnic for free music under the stars – a Florida Orchestra tradition for nearly 30 years. This event is perfect for date night or family time, featuring film scores, Broadway hits and symphonic favorites. Daniel Black is set to conduct. It’s also a perfect way to spend Mother’s Day in Tampa. You can RSVP for the event online.
Julian B Lane Riverfront Park has played host to the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts, the massive Super Bowl Pre-Game Party, myriad live events and so much more. The beautiful space features launches for kayaks and canoes, has its own Pirate Water Taxi stop, and includes a massive sea foam green sculpture at its edge.
