The next generation of skating rinks has arrived in South Tampa. Pattini’s, located in the plaza at 4465 West Gandy Boulevard, is a massive skating rink and arcade — for kids and adults — paired with a craft cocktail and sushi bar.
Pattini’s is hard to miss; the concept recently added a vibrant pink mural by Art Aliens over its front entrance before its official debut. It’s in good company, too. Pattini’s is right next door to the highly popular 81Bay Brewing.
Eat. Skate. Play. Repeat.
Before/after you skate, you can enjoy a selection of fine wines and draft beers. The already loaded space also happens to serve as an art gallery courtesy of a strategic partnership with Art Alien. If you see a piece on the wall you like? Reach out to a member of the staff to inquire about pricing and you could take it home with you that day.
Those who are a bit rusty on skates can sign up for lessons; lessons are free for kids 5 and under. It’s also elevating Tampa’s fitness game wit ha new SkateFit experience. Future plans call for a Battle of the Skates, which will crown the best skater/best skate group of Tampa Bay.

Eclectic menu surprises and wows at Pattini’s
Beyond sushi, Pattini’s has crafted a menu sure to satisfy exceptional appetites. Their farmhouse fries are covered in truffle cheese sauce, applewood bacon lardons, scallions and shaved romano. The chicken parmesan bites feature tender fried chicken and mozzarella cheese rolled in house mad dough and baked until golden brown.
Full meals include chargrilled organic grass fed steak burgers, French quarter shrimp and grits and an organic free range chicken sandwich. The item that most grabbed our attention was the Fluffernutter crunch dessert — layers of peanut butter mousse, Oreo cookie crumbles, Callebaut chocolate fudge and marshmallow fluff.
Arcade will make you feel like a kid again
The arcade is equipped with classic NBA shootout, the Walking Dead, Terminator, air hockey and more. Adults can sip on something spirited while indulging their inner child. The bar features everything from old fashioned cocktails and martinis to a Cucumber Wonder and a Blue Nightingale.
Pattini’s is available for rent, as well as for birthday parties and corporate events. Admission is $15 (regular admission and skate rental); bring your own skates and only pay $10.
