Parkesdale Farm Market (3702 W Baker St) is set to host the Flower Power Garden Fest on Saturday, July 13, from 9am-2pm. Presented by The Citrine Ghost, a licensed spooky plant shop in Plant City, this event promises to be a celebration of Parkesdale Farms’ rich (and delicious) legacy. We’re currently craving one of their TikTok famous strawberry shortcakes.

There’s a countdown clock on Parkesdale’s website leading up to January 2, 2025, which is when you can experience these beauties once again.

This family-friendly event is free to attend, making it accessible to everyone. Attendees are encouraged to don 60s and 70s-inspired outfits and flower crowns.

Parkesdale Farm Market has deep roots in Plant City. The family behind the market has been cultivating fruits and vegetables on their vast acres of farmland since the 1950s. It was in 1969 that the original owner’s daughter Cheryl and her husband Jim Meeks opened this tasty market to the public.

For those interested in participating as vendors, additional information can be obtained by emailing thecitrineghost@gmail.com.
