Tampa Bay is no stranger to vegan options and the new Dixie Dharma adds 100% plant-based, southern comfort food to that.
Originally from the Orlando area, Dixie Dharma has opened in the Heights Public Market at Armature Works. Dixie Dharma specializes in high-quality comfort food (with a southern spin) using wholesome, sustainable, and delicious ingredients.

Founder and executive chef, Shaun Noonan, created a plant-based cuisine that is family friendly, flavorful, and can be enjoyed by both vegan and non-vegan diners alike. The menu is 100% plant based with a mission to provide food that can change lives while presenting a unique southern take.
The menu has many of the favorites from the Orlando menu with some regional flair as well. Our personal pick is the Florida Fried Green Tomato–fresh green tomatoes, breaded and deep fried, with smoked eggplant remoulade, garlicky kale, and house chow chow all stuffed between two thick slices of Texas toast. Dixie Dharma also plans to serve a limited brunch menu that includes favorites like vegan pancakes, biscuits n’ gravy and breakfast burritos.
Armature Works is located at 1910 N. Ola Ave. in Tampa.
