Open wide, a giant deli serving monster sandwiches opens in West Shore

There’s no appetite too big for Lucky Dill Deli, a concept inspired by the massive stacked sandwiches you’d find at traditional NY delicatessens. The restaurant has been in development for years and at long last it is officially open at 4606 W Boy Scout Boulevard.

Craving hearty mozzarella sticks? How about fistfuls of fresh turkey and roast beef? Lucky Dill Deli delivers it in droves. Other old school faves include chopped liver, served with with grilled onion, bagel chips and mini rye, and Coney Island potato knish.

Serving legendary garlic fries

For the uninitiated, Lucky Dill is known for its bistro cut garlic fries. They’re tossed in olive oil and garlic butter, fresh chopped parsley, herbs and parmesan. You also get a side of warm parmesan marinara sauce for dipping.

Still hungry? Indulge in pretzel cut fried pickles. The savory spears are double coated in Lucky Dill’s pretzel crust for that oh so satisfying pre-meal crunch. Honestly, the starting baskets could serve as the main course, but if you leave Lucky Dill without at least sampling a sammie, you’re doing it wrong.

The expansive deli also features a huge bakery featuring an assortment of pies, cakes and cookies to top off your meal with.

Massive menu offers something for everyone

There’s an endless list of Franks, burgers, paninis and even Cuban sandwiches to choose from. The menu can be overwhelming, but it basically ensures everyone who is dining is leaving satisfied.

It’s not hard filling out a 15,000 square foot space with menu options like that. You’ll also find an expansive breakfast menu and drink list at Lucky Dill, depending one whether you’re an early bird or a night owl.

You can follow Lucky Dill’s new Tampa location on Facebook for updates on new menu specials.
